“Although I am an apprentice, I have never really been made to feel like an apprentice. I am treated as an equal member of the team ; I have been lucky to be able to learn and expand my skills right from the beginning – helping me fit into my role and team nicely. I am learning new things every day, whether it be during my actual course hours or when I am on the job.

The support we get is also very good, I know if I ever have any troubles or issues – I can always speak to someone , especially Vic. Vic sets up our internal apprenticeship meetings monthly, where all the apprentices meet to discuss different topics each month, any questions we have – and to update her on where we are on our course.
