We sat down with Andy Shepherd, Performance Lead at Loughborough University, to discuss the PODIUM programme; what it means for business travellers and how organisations or all sizes can benefit from implementing a wellbeing programme which takes the learnings of elite sport management and applies them to business to optimise human performance.

INTEL 471
One of our many long standing clients, Intel 471, recently experienced Podium for themselves with a specialist workshop tailored for business travel professionals. Delivered in partnership with experts from Loughborough University, the workshop took place at the award-winning campus.
The team from Intel 471 enjoyed presentations by professional sports management gurus on topics such as nutrition and traveller wellbeing. Then a complimentary nutritious lunch was provided, followed by a guided tour of the university’s superb sports facilities. The day ended with a challenging but fun wheelchair basketball group activity and a delicious evening meal.

We’ve uncovered many synergies between elite sport and the world of business, and have utilised these findings in developing Podium.
